Suhashini has 20 years of violin teaching experience to offer you and/or your child. She is inspiring and patient, with a strong belief that every child has the ability to succeed under the right conditions. These include high quality instruction and mutual cooperation between the teacher, parent, and student. With these factors in place, the student will develop a strong foundation that will pave the way for great playing enjoyment and a sense of physical ease. Suhashini's approach to teaching and performing has been profoundly influenced by graduate studies with noted pedagogue Burton Kaplan, author of "Practicing for Artistic Success; The Musician's Guide to Self-Empowerment in the Practice Room". As well as teaching for The Music Studio, Suhashini is a violin coach for the Regional Strings Program at Port Credit Secondary School, and the Halton Mississauga Youth Orchestra, formerly the Mississauga Youth orchestra.
