Olenka Slywynska holds a Masters Degree from the University of Toronto in Voice Pedagogy and Performance. Since its completion in 2012, she has been teaching voice privately. As a performer Ms. Slywynska enjoys opera, oratorio and recital work. Her opera credits include Miss Todd in The Old Maid and the Thief, the Third Lady in The Magic Flute, Olga from Eugene Onegin, the title role in L’Enfant et des Sortilèges, Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and the Queen in Respighi’s La bella dormenta nel bosco.

 

Olenka has participated in many celebrated music festivals including the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra’s WhatNext? Festival, the Tanglewood Music Festival, Artists of Royal Conservatory festivals, and the Niagara International Chamber Music Festival. She regularly performs oratorio and has performed with the Hamilton Philharmonic Symphony, Toronto Classical Singers and many others. Ms. Slywynska has been a member of the Canadian Opera Company Chorus.
