The Music Studio offers Adult Jazz Band classes in Toronto, where students develop essential techniques like chart reading, soloing, and comping while playing classic jazz standards. Whether you’re a vocalist, pianist, guitarist, bassist, drummer, or a horn player, our Jazz Ensemble program is designed to help you master the art of jazz performance.

What You’ll Learn:

• Repertoire Mastery – Play timeless jazz standards like Fly Me to the Moon, Summertime, and All of Me, and contemporary songs such as Phryzinian Man.
• Improvisation & Soloing – Develop confidence in soloing and jazz phrasing.
• Chart Reading & Comping – Understand jazz notation and accompaniment techniques.
• Ensemble Playing – Enhance your timing, dynamics, and collaboration with fellow musicians.
• Perform with Confidence – Gain performance experience while further developing your skills at performances including The Music Studio’s Band Concerts!

• Saturday: 10:15 AM

Cost: $40 per class (payable monthly)
Duration: 60 minutes per session
Location: The Music Studio, Toronto (Classes take place in our professionally equipped Band Room.)
