Elizabeth Gordones is an enthusiastic and experienced Violin and Viola Teacher with a passion for guiding students of all ages, from 3 years old to adults, on their musical journey. Her expertise was honed through intensive training in the National System of Venezuelan Orchestras (El Sistema), specializing in violin, orchestra repertoire, and coaching within Venezuela’s vibrant youth orchestras.
At Rock School Argentina from 2019 to 2022, Elizabeth skillfully utilized the Suzuki methodology to teach violin and viola to young learners, encouraging parental involvement to foster continuous progress at home. Additionally, she adapted her teaching approach for senior students, focusing on violin music that promotes mental and emotional well-being. From beginners to advanced students, she effectively incorporated various violin methods, including Laoureux, Kaiser, Kreutzer, and Dont.
During her tenure at the Private Studio in Buenos Aires from 2019 to 2022, Elizabeth successfully prepared advanced violin students for auditions at prestigious institutions like the Astor Piazzolla Conservatory of Music and Manuel de Falla Conservatory of Superior Musical Studies.
Furthermore, she made significant contributions to the National System of Venezuelan Youth Orchestras (El Sistema) from 2010 to 2018. She excelled in conducting and coordinating string sectionals, skillfully leading first and second violins to overcome challenging orchestral passages.
