Daniel began the Trumpet at the age of 10 under the instruction of his father, who is a music educator and trumpet player as well. He coached him throughout high school and prepared him for a post secondary education in music. Daniel completed his undergraduate degree in trumpet performance at the University of Toronto, and will receive his Artist Diploma from the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory this spring.
Outside of teaching, Daniel enjoys his time working as a freelancer. As a serving member of the Armed Forces, he performs regularly with the 7th Toronto Regiment Royal Canadian Artillery Band. He has performed 3 summers with the Band of the Ceremonial Guard in Ottawa. He also spent the summer of 2018 with the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, performing in several Canadian cities and in Germany and Scotland.
