Asal is a recent graduate of University of Toronto with Maters Degree in Collaborative piano under tutelage of Steven Philcox and Lydia Wong. She also holds a superior diploma in chamber music, achieved with juror’s honours and unanimous votes from École Normale De Musique De Paris, where she studied with Chantal De Buchy and Guigla Katsarava.

Her early professional training in music goes back to when she was living in Iran and started her music studies at Tehran Conservatory, where she later enjoyed being a faculty member for two years following her graduation from Paris Music School.

Growing up in Iran, Asal participated in numerous music festivals and competitions that brought her first prize in Iran 3rd Piano Biennale competition , 24th Fadjr music festival and 4th national students competition.

In her early undergraduate studies at Azad University in Tehran, Asal was the soloist to premiere The Suite by Iranian composer Hassan Riyahi with Tehran Symphony Orchestra.

Asal has been residing in Canada since 2010 .She has been always passionate about playing in music ensembles and sharing the joy of performance in collaboration with other musicians. She is now an active collaborator and a teacher based in Toronto.
