Stefan Lipoczi — Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn

Stefan Lipoczi had joined our staff in 2003 as a Brass instructor, coming to The Music Studio with an abundance of musical experience. A Romanian National University of Music graduate with a Master's degree in Interpretation Stylistics, he has spent over 15 years teaching elementary, high school and university levels. In 2008 one of Stefan's groups participated and placed 3rd in Kiwanis Music Festival for GTA.

Throughout his performing career he had the opportunity to collaborate with prestigious groups in Romania and U.S.A., where he also held a full scholarship at North Carolina School of the Arts. Thought his performing career, he had toured in the United States, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland and Romania.

As a teacher, Stefan is actively engaging students in the learning process through ability to be accommodating and versatile, with the talent to inspire hands-on lessons capturing the children's imagination. He is employing engaging songs and themes as well as production participation allowing students to take ownership of their learning. He values working in an enriching and respectful environment and connects the teaching process to the larger context of family and community.
