Musical Tip of The Month

Just as playing an instrument or singing is an art form with skills to be acquired, so is listening to music. Anyone can benefit and derive great joy from any style of music by listening with an active mind and improving their musical listening skills. The more detail you are able to hear in a piece of music, the more the music reveals itself to you in terms of it's emotional content, instrumentation and technical requirements.
