COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS

The Music Studio supports the fund raising activities of many schools and organizations, including:

• John G Althouse Junior Middle School
• Bloorlea Middle School
• St. Clement Catholic School
• Etobicoke School of the Arts
• Life-Bridge Child Care
• Wedgewood Family Fun Fest

Each year The Music Studio in Etobicoke (Toronto) gives free lesson coupons to schools throughout Etobicoke to be distributed to students in each school’s music program.

The Music Studio has donated piano, violin and vocal music books for use in the music programs at Islington United Church.

The Music Studio offers students many opportunities during the year to perform in the community. These concerts take place at venues and events including:

• Humbertown Plaza
• Tapestry Retirement Residence
• The Fox and Fiddle in the Islington Village Plaza
• The Second Cup located at Islington Avenue and Dundas Street West
• Islington Village Street Festival
• Westway United Church
